ESG Deal Screening

  • Screening against ACA's Exclusion List and ESG requirements
  • Initial ESG categorization
  • Initial ESG risk and opportunity identification

ESG Due Diligence

  • ESG due diligence (usually conducted by independent consultants)
  • Evaluation of material issues and understanding their impact on future value
  • Evaluate the company's capacity, commitment, and track record on ESG
  • Collect baseline impact data

Investment Processing/Execution

  • Present ESG findings, risk ratings, and compliance status to the Investment Committee
  • Incorporate ESG related covenants, action plans, and ESG conditions in investment agreement
  • Outline detailed ESG action plan

Post Investment Management

  • Identify and implement ESG value-add preposition
  • Regular monitoring to assess risks, track performance, monitor ESAP progress and ensure ESG compliance.
  • Communicate ESG performance and track development impact data.

EXIT

  • Computation and communication of tangible measurable ESG value add.
  • Prepare final post-investment ESG performance reports to support a responsible exit.
