ACA’s CSR strategy is driven by its mission to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive. In the past, ACA has supported the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG); the African Leadership Academy (ALA); the American Business Council (ABC); the Nigerian-South African Chamber of Commerce (NSACC) amongst others. However, with a view to formalizing its CSR involvement and ensuring the efforts are permanent, the Partners in September 2012 decided to establish the ACA Foundation.

The ACA Foundation

The ACA Foundation was established with a mission to support the creation of an enabling environment, which encourages and supports successful businesses led by ethical business leaders. The Foundation has achieved this by selecting implementation partners whose mission is closely aligned with the firm’s goals to:

  • Increase ethical business leadership
  • Contribute to creating an enabling environment in which businesses can thrive
  • Engage our partners, staff and stakeholders in nation-building activities

Support to these partners has been through financial grants and building their capacity to achieve greater impact through public-private partnerships. The Foundation currently works with the following partner organizations:

  • Apostles in the Marketplace
  • African Leadership Academy
  • African Leadership Initiative West Africa
  • Harvard Business School Association of Nigeria
  • Junior Achievement of Nigeria
  • Pan-Atlantic University
